'Dragonfies Heaven'.

Finally finished this stain glass wall hanging!  Thought I'd bitten off more than I could chew when I first undertook it, but I finally got it done.  I'm pleased how it turned out.  It was originally a pattern for a stain glass window, but I adapted it for fabric.

'Challenge' entry in Tauranga Patchwork and Quilters Group Exhibition

Fantastic local Exhibition by our local Patchwork and quilters group.  This year I entered the 'Challenge'.  Have never entered it before, so was totally surprise to be awarded 'merit' for my entry.  We were given a paint sample off a sample chart.  Mine was called 'anticipation'.  The colour of the sample had to be incorporated in the quilt and the quilt had to reflect the name of the sample.  My entry had a half finished quilt, anticipating it's finishing.

Ok, so earlier on in my posts, way back in April 10 2012, under the title of '16 pieces soon to be 1', I showed you some blocks I was making, well now it's finally finished. Here's a few picks.

Such fun to make, but took me way longer than it should have. Hope you enjoy!!

Rag quilts

Hi everyone, Have been doing a bit of rag quilting. Haven't really attempted it before so made one for my daughter who is a Uni, and for my mother-inlaw who has just come to live with us.
